CPJ releases US 2020 election safety kit
As news coverage increases of the U.S. 2020 presidential election campaign, CPJ releases safety resources for the media. Journalists covering election rallies and events in the U.S. are harassed online, verbally assaulted, and even physically assaulted. The safety kit includes information for editors, reporters, and photojournalists on how to prepare for assignments and how to mitigate and prepare for digital, physical, and psychological risk.
