Ilya Krieger is a Moscow-based independent journalist and a former reporter for Novaya Gazeta.

Lauren Wolfe is the director of Women Under Siege, a project on sexualized violence and conflict at the Women’s Media Center. While CPJ’s senior editor, she wrote the CPJ report, “The Silencing Crime: Sexual Violence and Journalists.” Previously, she was a researcher on two New York Times books on the 9/11 attacks.

Thulani Ndlovu has an LLB in law from Wits University, Johannesburg, and a diploma in mass communication. He works as a media advocate and freelancer in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Jackie Bischof is a freelance writer based in Johannesburg, South Africa and writes on the South African media for journalism.co.za.
