Bangkok, August 20, 2018–The Committee to Protect Journalists today condemned the recent abuse of imprisoned Vietnamese videographer Nguyen Van Hoa, and called on Vietnamese authorities to stop beating and harassing jailed journalists.

Vietnamese blogger sentenced to 7 years for anti-state “propaganda”

Bangkok, November 28, 2017–Vietnamese authorities should immediately release the blogger Nguyen Van Hoa who was sentenced on Monday to seven years in prison on charges of disseminating “propaganda against the state,” the Committee to Protect Journalists said today.

Bangkok, January 26, 2017–Vietnamese authorities should unconditionally release videographer Nguyen Van Hoa and blogger Tran Thi Nga, the Committee to Protect Journalists said today.
