Ethiopia’s Central High Court sentenced Mesfin and Yishal, reporters for the weekly Tenager, to 18 months and 12 months in prison, respectively, for publishing an Oromo Liberation Front communiqué about the group’s armed struggle and for publishing three other political articles, including a story about the arbitrary murder of civilians by soldiers of the Woyane ethnic group.
