Aladağ, one of Ozgur Ulke’s Agri correspondents, was taken into custody on Aug. 10, 1994, during a police raid on the paper’s Agri bureau. He was subsequently charged with being a member of the PKK. Articles he wrote about the security forces and their operations and human rights violations in the Southeast are cited as evidence of his PKK membership. The trial continues.
