Haneen Kashtan, a Palestinian journalist who contributed to multiple media outlets including the local Fatah-affiliated TV Al-Kofiya, the local privately owned Baladna Web TV (launched by journalists in 2017), and others, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Nuseirat refugee camp in northern Gaza, along with other family members, according to the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate, Al-Jazeera, and the Cairo-based Youm7.
