Sarioglu, one of the Antakya correspondents for the weekly magazine Mücadele, was detained during a police raid on the magazine’s Antakya bureau. He was charged with aiding an illegal organization and sentenced to three years and nine months in prison. He is serving his term in Nevsehir Prison.
