Sihue, a layout artist for the left-wing weekly Cambio, was detained and later sentenced to six years in prison for allegedly “apologizing for terrorism,” a crime under the antiterrorism legislation instituted in Peru in 1992. He is being held at the Miguel Castro Castro Prison in Lima.
