Sunshine Week 2018 Preview: Fighting for Transparency & Freedom of Information

Join several of the nation’s leading journalism and freedom of information advocates to preview Sunshine Week 2018, which will take place March 11 – 17. Sunshine Week is a nationwide celebration of access to public information. The preview event on Mar 9 is entitled “Fighting for Transparency & Freedom of Expression”. CPJ will join the event panel, “How do we know it’s news? How do journalists report the news when open government and press freedom are under assault? Journalists, experts explain how they combat perceptions and help the public trust accurate, reliable news reporting they receive”, from 9:50 am- 10:30 am.
