Meeting of Community of Democracies Working Group on Freedom of Expression

The Community of Democracies Working Group on Promoting Freedom of Opinion and Expression will convene at the 28th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva to discuss challenges and collaborative strategies to promote freedom of expression worldwide. CPJ is a member of the working group, which includes representation from CD countries and nongovernmental organizations.

Samantha Libby, CPJ’s digital manager, has worked in freedom of expression and human rights in Ethiopia, Vietnam, Kalimantan, and West Papua. She has also investigated the domestic and international arms trade. She is a playwright, artist, and an award-winning writer.
