José Abel Salazar Serna

Salazar, host of the radio program "Juventud en Acción" (Youth in Action) on the Todelar station in the central Colombian town of Manizales, was found dead in his apartment in Manizales. He had been stabbed 15 times. Salazar had broadcast appeals for peace and coexistence.


Motive Unconfirmed: CPJ is investigating to determine whether the death was work-related.
