UN. Stemming the Tide of Media Repression. With Samantha Power and Tom Malinowski

Four journalists from Ecuador, Egypt, Turkey, and Vietnam were honored on November 26, 2013, at the Committee to Protect Journalists’ 23rd annual International Press Freedom Awards for their work in defiance of repression and censorship.

CPJ and the New America Foundation is hosting on a panel in New York called “Obama and the Press,” which will discuss the findings of CPJ’srecent U.S. report. Details about there event can be found here.
