Terror creates chaos. Terrorism affects the entire society. Has the world become more dangerous, a scarier place? Or does it only feel that way?
We need to increase our awareness on how different concepts regarding terrorism are used in journalism. We need to work together on this, it is both difficult and important.
Therefore, the Media Institute Fojo in cooperation with the Institution for media and journalism at the Linnaeus university arrange a conference for both journalists and media researchers in Kalmar May 9-11: Journalism in a world of terrorism – terrorism in a world of journalism.
The first day is open to public, the conference open to delegates after application.
