Michele Louhisdon joined CPJ in 2021 as director of human resources. She is responsible for strengthening human resources across CPJ and overseeing the organization’s efforts to recruit, engage, develop, and retain talent, with an explicit focus on supporting CPJ’s core commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Louhisdon earned her master’s in media communications and film production from New York University, where she also studied as an undergraduate. She has more than 15 years of experience working in human resources in support of media organizations such as NBC Universal and ABC as well as for not-for-profits.
