Carlos Lauría, CPJ’s senior program coordinator for the Americas, appeared on the August 4 edition of Fox News’ “Strategy Room.” The segment details how drug cartels in Mexico are kidnapping and killing journalists to control the flow of information. Lauría also talks about Mexican President Felipe Calderón’s struggle to protect freedom of expression in the country.
Assistant Advocacy Director Magnus Ag is a New York-based human rights advocate and journalist.
