“CPJ sends its deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Abdirisak Warsame at Radio Shabelle,” said CPJ Africa Program Coordinator Tom Rhodes. “We call on both sides of the conflict to take measures to protect journalists and allow them to carry out their work.”
