Tim Crockett is a former U.K. Special Forces commando and the chief executive officer of Pioneer Consulting Group, a security training and consulting firm. He is a security adviser to CNN, and accompanied a three-person CNN crew led by international correspondent Arwa Damon to Homs, Syria, last March.
