Naomi Zeveloff

Naomi Zeveloff joined CPJ as features editor in July 2020 and was named senior editor for features and analysis in 2023. From 2014 to 2020 she reported from Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories, producing stories on Israeli settler youth, Trump’s Middle East policy, and solar panel use in Gaza for outlets such as NPR, PRI’s The World, The Atlantic, and others. She previously worked at The Forward as Middle East correspondent and deputy culture editor. Originally from Ogden, Utah, she began her career in journalism in the American West, reporting for newsweeklies in Salt Lake City, Colorado Springs, Denver, and Dallas. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from The Colorado College and a Master of Arts in political journalism from Columbia Journalism School. Follow her on LinkedIn.
