Adel Iskandar teaches at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies and the Communication, Culture, and Technology program at Georgetown University. He is author of the recently published Egypt In Flux: Essays on an Unfinished Revolution (American University in Cairo, 2013), the co-editor with Bassam Haddad of Mediating the Arab Uprisings (Tadween Press, 2012), and co-author with Mohammed el-Nawawy of Al-Jazeera: The Story of the Network that Is Rattling Governments and Redefining Modern Journalism (Westview Press/Basic Books, 2003).
