Washington D.C, January 31, 2019–The Committee to Protect Journalists will host a press conference outside of the White House on February 7 to demand justice in the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
The event comes one day ahead of the February 8 deadline for the Trump administration to deliver a report to the Senate on Khashoggi’s murder. The report is required to include the administration’s findings on suspected involvement by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and whether the White House will impose sanctions on all persons determined to have been involved.
CPJ will share messages from journalists, advocates, and citizens gathered through its #JusticeForJamal campaign.
