CPJ to release annual assessment of press freedom

This year’s edition looks at new face of censorship

New York, April 18, 2017–The Committee to Protect Journalists will release its annual publication, Attacks on the Press, on April 25, 2017. The theme of this year’s edition is “The New Face of Censorship.”

CPJ will mark the launch of the book with two public events on April 25, 2017: one in partnership with the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford University, at 6 P.M. BST, and another at Columbia Journalism School in New York City, at 6:30 p.m. EDT.
