On April 19 the Seattle Weekly blogged about CPJ’s letter to the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano. According to the CPJ letter critical reporting on the case of a British exchange student who was murdered in Italy has set off an alarming wave of threats, harassment and intimidation by local authorities, who effectively obstruct news coverage and opinion in Italy and the United States.
