Chulanov, sports correspondent for Belarus National Television, was found dead in his apartment in Minsk. He was killed by a blow to the head with a heavy object. Local sources told CPJ he may have been murdered for filming Russian and Belarusian racketeers in Poland.Motive Unconfirmed: CPJ is investigating to determine whether the death was work-related.
