Yesterday's 20-year jail sentence of Afghan journalism student Parwez Kambakhsh is getting additional coverage today.

The Associated Press has updates, and the Canadian Globe and Mail has a story about Kambakhsh that cites our alert, released yesterday. The Italian Inter Press Service has a story about the case as well as that of Afghan journalist Jawed Ahmad, who was held by U.S. forces at Bagram Air base until his release last month.
